ECG Awareness
ECG Awareness
This course emphasises the importance of having realistic expectations and a solid foundation in order to learn effectively. It acknowledges that becoming a leading cardiologist cannot be achieved solely through this course. Electrocardiograms (ECGs) are challenging and require dedicated effort, similar to learning a new language.
In this course you are encouraged to take your time, take breaks, and review videos as needed for better comprehension. Understanding the basics of heart anatomy is crucial for comprehending ECGs and their significance.
Instead of jumping into complex 12-lead ECGs, this course starts with basic ECGs and gradually introduces different rhythms and abnormalities. The ability to recognise a normal ECG is as important as identifying any potential issues encountered.
